Soon be time to think about Halloween fun

Move on to Halloween fun ‘cos it’s the last hurrah for enjoying summer festivals as the evenings get a certain chill and the kids go back to school. The big one, Burning Man took place in the Nevada desert last week with upwards of 70,000 fans attending. It usually has outlandish festival fashion on display and this year was no exception. While most of us won’t be enjoying summer festivals for the next few months, unless you are lucky enough to head down to Australia for their summer, we can look forward to Halloween fun parties coming up in October and some seem to be getting in training already. Controversial South African rock duo the Soap Girls boasted to their fans that they were off to the pajama party from hell, a bit early for Halloween fun. Some people prefer to have fun with a onesie pajama party and the Chicago Cubs are making it an annual event. Players all wore their fun onesie pajamas on the long flight home, just as they’d done last year after Jake Arrieta’s no-hitter at Dodger Stadium. Javier Baez, the first to try his onesie on in the clubhouse before the game, told teammates they were “really hot” this year. The Cubs finished their Onesies Trip with a 5-4 record, losing two of the three series but maintaining the gap between themselves and the second-place Cardinals.
