It’s the Season for Buying Pajamas

The main season for buying pajamas is between October and December. The reasons are mostly obvious. For a start, it’s getting cold, the evenings are closing in and people want cozy sleepwear. Secondly pajamas are a traditional fun gift for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Some of our customers buy new pajama onesies each year. Some even buy matching adult onesies for the whole family. Can you think of another gift for about $30 which is fun yet practical and can be used over and over for several years? And the third reason is that some of our adult onesies can be used to make a Halloween Costume, so Halloween is also a big sales opportunity for us. And for the first time, if you are thinking about buying pajamas for this festive season you will have the chance to buy two new designs. It was reported that officials in the Canberra Embassy had to issue an apology for a “training error” after sending out a meeting invitation which included this photo of a cat wearing a cookie monster onesie. It wasn’t revealed how widely the email was broadcast but a follow up email the next day offered a little more information. US Mission public affairs counsellor Gavin Sundwall offered this apology: “Sorry to disappoint those of you who were hoping to attend this ‘cat pajama- jam’ party, but such an event falls well outside our area of expertise.” Makes you wonder what sort of training was going on?
